Week 3...getting better!

Thanks for all the updates at home! I'm sure everything is going well. I pray for you guys every day just as you do for me. I got mail today and got my valentines day card from Grandma Bowden. Tell her thanks for everything, she is the greatest grandma anyone could ask for. The last two days here have been pretty lonely. All the other latinos and the oldest group of North Americans left. It was just the 2 remaining North American groups. It has been fun speaking English, but I miss some of the other missionaries and miss practicing Spanish with them. Tell Michael Happy Birthday and that Green Bay got lucky. haha. Yesterday was President Georges b-day he is our mission president here in the CCM. He gave us all cake and it was really good. The weather here is still pretty hot but not too bad. The air conditioners kinda broke down a couple days ago and I woke up in the morning sweaty....I guess I'll get use to it. Today all the new Gringos (North Americans) got here. It's funny because we have only spoke Spanish to them and they don't know that much. All the North American elders also parted their hair....Aaron Braithwaite style. It looks good, I will send you pictures when I can. You can tell Charlie that there is no rule about the part here so it's all good. The language continues to get better everyday and the more I try to use Spanish, the better I know and understand it. It is exciting to hear from everyone. I don't know if it's good or bad, but 90 percent of my Spanish vocabulary is gospel words. I just hope I can learn lots more. Proselyting on Saturday went great again. The couple of appointments we had to go back to were not there so we are going again this Saturday. It's sad because we only have 3 weeks in one area and then change, so this is our last one in this area. We also found two new investigators and I think they are good. One of the ladies names is Mirium and she is Christian already, but goes to another church. She also said she believes in the Holy Ghost too. So we asked her to read the B of M and pray and she said she would. We are going back to talk to her about it this Saturday. Things are going well, it's still hard, but well. I am starting to get use to being a missionary and doing all the Lord wants me to do. I am so grateful to be raised of goodly parents and have an awesome family! Your all are so great. I am grateful to have the wonderful comfort of this gospel in my life, I don't know where I would be without it. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share it with everyone I can in Argentina and Uruguay. I am so excited to get into the field, I know it will be much easier! Love you all so much, thanks for all the support. Keep working hard as always and choose the right. I know the Savior lives and loves us each individually. I know He died so we can be happy, have comfort and return to Him someday. Love you all again, best wishes, talk to you next week.
Love,
Elder Bowden
